A sound knowledge of anatomy cannot be obtained without having an adequate comprehension of general anatomical facts and principles. This book designed to be helpful for the students. Multiple diagrams and pictures have been added to facilitate the comprehension of the subject matter.

As this book aims at guiding the beginners, unnecessary and cumbersome details have been avoided and attempt has been made to present the fundamental anatomical concepts in an easily comprehensible manner. It is my firm belief that an overdose of knowledge is harmful for the novice students; therefore, brevity has been observed as a major principle in the

preparation of this book.
